Photography
When I am not working, I tend to focus my creative efforts on photography.
I find that it can sometimes be difficult to pursue personal creativity when working in a creative field. For me, photography is the perfect outlet to keep me fresh while also still feeling separate from the work I do to pay the bills.
I tend to shoot film, creating an additional barrier between my professional work and my personal work. Most of my professional work exists in digital spaces, while I try to keep my personal work as analog as possible. By shooting film, developing it myself, and creating physical prints for display, I am forced to slow down and really be present for the entire image-making process. The analog workflow is incredibly fulfilling.
Below, you can view some of my work.
