Who Am I?
My name is Lucas. I am a do-it-all creative professional originally from Rochester, NY. I now live in Austin, TX
I like motorcycles, my family, and Fierce Grape Gatorade.
I dislike the when people talk at the movies, the New England Patriots, and being sticky.
I comes from a long line of artisans, craftsmen, and creative folks. My maternal grandfather worked for Kodak. My paternal grandfather was a graphic artist. My father was a master carpenter. My mother is a painter. My sister is an artist, interior designer, and floral designer. Creativity is in my blood.
I have worked in numerous disciplines across digital, physical, and social media to create compelling design, writing, photography, and video.
I would love to use my creative flair, curious mind, and 12 years of professional experience in your service.
"We're dancing animals… We are here on Earth to fart around, and don’t let anybody tell you any different."
- Kurt Vonnegut
In the increasingly impersonal, digital world, I strive to imbue my work with whimsy, personality, and fun.
Effective design and effective advertising relies almost entirely on authenticity and the human connection.
People can tell when they're being sold to and, for the most part, they do not like it.
I pride myself on being a human first and an advertiser second. It makes the world better and it makes the work better.
Here are some of my photos.
When I'm not working, photography is one of the ways I keep myself rooted in my humanity. I hope you like them.
